Lost Passport Due To Hurricane Ian According to travel.state.gov , The passport application fee waiver for victims of Florida Hurricane Ian is valid until September 28th, 2025. The file search fee waiver is valid until March 28th, 2024. You can only qualify for a fee waiver at this time if you lost your passport during Hurricane Ian. If you’ve never had a U.S. passport, or you lost your passport as a result of a disaster other than one listed on travel.state.gov, or you lost an expired passport, then you do not qualify for a fee waiver for a replacement passport.
