How Do I Report Fraud, Waste, and Abuse
Osceola County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller goal is to protect and preserve the public trust for the residents of Osceola County and the County assets and reputation. One of the newest tools to assist this endeavor is the Osceola County Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Hotline program. Independently managed by a third-party company, Red Flag Reporting, Osceola County citizens and employees can now report potential unethical, illegal, unsafe, asset waste and/or abuse behavior occurring in Osceola County. If justifiable, the Office of the County Auditor will investigate the situation.
There are 5 ways to report a concern to Osceola County Office of the County Auditor:
NOTICE: Under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to public records requests, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
Instructions for Reporting an Issue via Fax, Email, or Mail:
Describe your concern with as much detail as possible. Provide the names of all individuals involved, including any other witnesses. Give the dates and times the incident(s) occurred and where it happened. State whether there is any supporting documentation to be provided. It can be sent to the address above.
For email, please keep a record of the date and time you send your communication. These two items will serve as your identification codes if you choose to follow up on any concerns reported.
If no contact information is provided, please call the hotline above two weeks after reporting your concern(s). Often after we start our investigation, questions arise, or further clarification is necessary to continue the investigation. Therefore, it is extremely important for you to contact us after the initial contact.

At this time, the U.S Department of State has limited the applications that can be accepted by the Clerk & Comptroller’s Office.
If you are traveling in less than nine (9) weeks, you must call the National Passport Information Center within 14 calendar days of your scheduled travel (28 calendar days if foreign visa) at 1-877-487-2778 Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in order to make an appointment for passport services at a U.S. Department of State Passport Agency.

Please note that completing this application does NOT begin the three-day waiting period. The three-day waiting period does not begin until after the couple comes together to the Clerk’s office and purchases the marriage license in person.
