The Recording and Records Management Department performs many functions in the Clerk's office.  The primary functions are:

Official Records On-Line - On-line record search of Official Records.

Tax Deeds On-Line Search - On-line record search of Official Tax Records.

Central Mail Room - Centralized interoffice and postal services for the Clerk and all county agencies.

Land Records/Research - Information and copies of documents relating to ownership of, or liens against real property located in Osceola County.  OR books containing scanned images  are available on CD's at a cost of $25.00 per book. 

Marriage Department  - The Marriage Department is responsible for issuing marriage licenses.

Passport - The Passport Department acts as an acceptance agent responsible for receiving and forwarding passport applications and renewals to the U.S. Department of State, Passport Services.

Recording - The Recording Department acts as the central depository for all documents placed on public record in the Official Records Books.

Records Retention Center - Off-site centralized management and tracking of public and court records.
